As I promised before I am going to tell you a short recount about my awesome trip overseas! I am back now and have already been here for two days.
After our long and perilous trip to Paris we arrived at our hotel and settled down. We had 10 days in Paris, and we went on a lot of tours. You have to stay in Paris for ten days to see at least a quarter of the city.We also went to Euro Disney. It was amazing.
On our 10th day in Paris we hopped on a train to Bordeaux and met some family friends there. We only stayed there for about two days.
Then with the Kaises (our family friends) we drove to Provence. We stayed in a massive house that had a pool and a massive backyard, it was pretty spectacular. For a week we did amazing activities such as canoeing down concrete water ramps and running through grape vines. Sadly the week had to come to an end and we left the Kaises on a train to Milan.
We only had one day in Milan because we only need one day to shop. After all it is the city of fashion, and we were there during fashion week so it was very hectic.
From Milan we rented a car and drove to Lake Como. There we met our other family friends the Bertollini’s. We swam in the Lake and went on a tourist boat across the beautiful lake we only had 2 days there.
Then accompanied by the Bertollini’s we drove to Gardaland. Gardaland is an amusement park that’s only a bit smaller than Disney Land. The roller coasters gave you that adrenaline rush that I always love. We stayed one night at the Gardaland hotel then still with the Bertollini’s we went to Venizia!
In Venizia we had a wonderful time. We stayed for around two days. It was very touristy. We went on a gondola ride and saw real glass animals being made, LIVE! We had a great stay in Venizia.
The next day we hopped on a train to Firenze. We stayed in Firenze for 3 days and had a ball. On the first day we just looked around but on the second day since it was my birthday so we went to the best restaurant in Italy. It seriously was the best. It is a 600 year old villa that overlooks the city of Firenze. The next day we said ‘ciao’ to Firenze and hopped on another train to Rome.
In Rome it was beautiful. The Colusseum was great but the other parts of Rome were also very, very interesting. It is the oldest city in the world. There we stayed around 4 days and then said bye to Europe.
The plane trip was even longer that time because Rome is further away from Australia than Paris.
I am so lucky to have gone on such an amazing trip and I am grateful I can still remember every single bit of it.
