When I looked up I could see
The true colours within me
It was like someone had found the key
To open up the struggle, and set me free!
The grass I saw, from before, was greener
The flowers started too bloom
The sun was shining it’s brightest
And there was no bit of gloom
People arose from the ashes
And began to enjoy enrichment
Our lives were majestically enhanced
We were no longer stuck to the pavement
All I had to do
Was to find the real layer of me
If everyone followed my footsteps
What a better place the world would be
