Sally the kangaroo was sad, very very sad. And there was nothing she could do about it. SALLY COULDN’T HOP! SInce she was born she struggled and struggled to jump. So instead of hopping she decided she would try skipping.
All of her classmates laughed and laughed at poor Sally everyday, so Sally is going to prove to them that she’s just as cool as everyone else. So the next day Sally skipped to school. Then she skipped to class. In P.E she skipped around. All the other joeys couldn’t believe it! She was as fast as lightning!
All of her classmates tried to learn how to skip, but they couldn’t. Sally was trying to be friends with them and taught them how. Her new friends asked her if she wanted to learn how to hop, and do you know what Sally did, she kindly “No way mate,” and skipped away.
The other joeys were scratching their heads and thinking, “I love the kangaroo that can’t hop!”
That was a story that I wrote for my sister when she didn’t get anything from the book parade. Unfortunately she didn’t like it so I decided to post it on this blog. If you have any siblings or young friends try write a story for them because it is very fun!
